2008 – 2019
The classroom taught me how people learn
Over a decade in K–12 education, earning a Master's in Brain-Based Curriculum and Instruction along the way. I learned how to take genuinely complex information and translate it into something clear, usable, and repeatable. That skill never left me (and it shows up in everything I do now).

I moved into real estate, starting at the front desk and rising to COO and CFO. I led operations and finance for a 450-agent brokerage during a $1B+ year. I learned where high performance quietly turns into overload, and what actually creates results that hold.

My son was born with a congenital heart defect
My son was born with a congenital heart defect. I sat in a pediatric ER watching his heart rate spike to 300 BPM. In that moment I understood something I hadn't before: time is not a resource to be filled. It is a gift to be protected. Everything I had been building had to be rebuilt around what actually mattered. Six surgeries (and counting) later, that clarity has never wavered.

I went from 80+ hours a week inside someone else's model to fewer than 30 hours running multiple businesses, without sacrificing impact. Not because I found a shortcut, but because I finally got honest about what was creating drag and what was creating results. That shift is what I now help capable, driven leaders make for themselves through the work of getting genuinely clear on what comes next.

Giving Back
My “Big Why” and “Big What”
Thomas’s story is part of why I advocate for The Children's Heart Foundation. Research changes outcomes. Families deserve better answers and better odds. A portion of what I earn goes to supporting the Children's Heart Foundation, and I use my platform to share resources, awareness, and the realities behind congenital heart defects.
