Before You Buy the Membership (Check These Three Things)

A community isn't the product. The 3P Framework is: a defined outcome that everyone in the room agrees on, real proximity to someone who's already gotten there, a process clear enough that you're not reverse-engineering someone's highlight reel, and peers at your same stage pursuing the same thing. Miss one leg and the whole thing looks alive right up until it isn't.

"You don't have to be the smartest person in the room that you paid to join. And if you are, the room owes you a refund, not a thank you note."
Jess Webber · Episode 31

Before you join or renew anything, run the audit. Name the specific outcome you're checking for, one you could confirm yes or no on in six months. Then check the three legs: is the access you're being sold actual proximity or just broadcast, is there a real first step and sequence or just someone's story with steps taped on, and are the peers in the room actually at your stage pursuing your outcome. If the outcome is fuzzy or even one leg is missing, know that going in.

The idea behind this episode: real proximity means someone actually sees your specific situation and tells you the truth, not just performs access from a stage.
