The Big Idea
Rest by the world's definition and rest by your actual nervous system's definition are often two different things. For high capacity, ADHD, and fast-thinking brains, true recovery sometimes looks like curiosity with no deadline attached rather than stillness for its own sake. Knowing the difference is what actually protects your capacity instead of quietly draining it while looking like self-care from the outside.
"Moving towards the wrong thing when your body is asking for something else is not the same as taking action."Jess Webber · Episode 29

Not sure what's actually driving the pattern? Run it through the BEAT Method.
Before you can fix a rest problem or a definition problem, you need to see it clearly. The BEAT Method (Brake, Examine, Audit, Tune) is the free framework Jess introduced back in Episode 13 for doing exactly that.
